My husband and I are planning to live abroad for a year and we're currently looking into moving to either Panama or Colombia. We'd love to live somewhere slightly tropical with a lot of access to nature. We'd rather not be in a huge place, such as Panama City, for example. Here are some other main aspects of what we're looking for:

• fast internet/wireless access from the home (my husband and I both work "from home." He is usually on video calls for 3-5 hours a day).
• a house in a spot that has great access for 1-2 weekend adventures a month.
• a city where there's a good amount to do.

Anyone have any ideas as to good cities to research?
