Is moving to Ireland from Spain a bad idea?
Hello! I am Laura and I am from Spain (Canary Islands). I would like to move to Ireland in order to find a job and have new experiences. I would like someone to tell me any experience or knowledge of this country and to give me some advice on: where to live, culture, languages, character and personality of people, jobs, economy, delinquency rate etc. I've had quite a few people tell me it is depressing due to the weather but I do like the idea of moving somewhere different. Are you honestly okay waking up and living in cloudy grey country? I'm from England so I'm used to it but I image coming from Spain it might be depressing. Would it not be better to go somewhere on mainland Spain?
The salaries are generally better in Ireland but in Dublin the cost of living is high in terms of renting.
