Language:
Indonesian is spoken by over 94% of the population, but it is the primary language of only 20% of the population. Javanese (Jawa) is the most common primary language, spoken by over 30% of the population. English isn’t widely spoken so we recommend learning basic words and phrases before arriving.

Money:
The rupiah is the official currency of Indonesia. Salaries really depend on the employer and the position. If you work for an international recruiter you might be paid in a different currency to your home bank account.
