Positions
Tour Guide
• Seasonal full-time & part-time September to April
At Chasing Lights we are dedicated to providing our guests with memorable and enjoyable holidays in the Arctic and under the Northern Lights. We are looking for energetic and passionate tour guides who thrive on challenges, take pride in their work, care deeply about people and nature, enjoy being outdoors, and constantly push to make themselves and their teammates better.
As a tour guide for Chasing Lights you will be responsible for the satisfaction of our guests during their time with us. You will be tasked with ensuring that our guests have the best holiday experience possible regardless of the circumstances. This is a very demanding job that requires a variety of skills, a charismatic personality, a hunger to constantly be learning and improving, and a penchant for perfection.
Driver (D95)
• Seasonal full-time & part-time September to April
Becoming a driver for Chasing Lights means taking on great responsibility. Your tasks include all transport related duties, like loading and cleaning the vehicles and – above all – driving our guests and tour guides safely through the harsh Arctic environment. We expect you to work closely with our tour guides to ensure we can offer the best service to our guests – this includes physical work like starting a campfire or cleaning paths off snow. You should excel in the field of customer service and possess basic English skills.
Since most of our work happens at night you must be comfortable working at late hours without fatigue. We expect a safe and non-aggressive driving style and extensive winter driving experience. Furthermore you should regularly reflect on your own skills and be open to feedback from your co-workers and superiors.

Intern
• Seasonal full-time & part-time September to April
An internship at Chasing Lights will give you a unique insight into the operations and procedures at one of Northern Norway’s leading tour operators. You will get to learn how to assist on tours with a possibility of leading them yourself, take care of customers in our shop and help putting together itineraries for individual travelers and group tours.
We expect from you to learn quickly and contribute to our work passionately. In return we offer you a family-like working atmosphere in one of Northern Europe’s fastest growing tourism industries.
The duration of the internship is flexible, however, we prefer applicants who are available for at least three months.
